Rally in the Valley Update: The 421 riders made the rally a great success! More than 150 riders visited Shady Valley on Sunday, September 8, and they donated over $1,500.00 to the Shady Valley Volunteer Fire Department! The weather was wonderful for a rally in the most beautiful place in East Tennessee, and everyone seemed to have a great time. The volunteer firefighters were impressed by the generosity of the riders, and the riders were thankful for the opportunity to give back to this small, friendly community. A special thanks goes to Carroll and Peggy Long, proprietors of the Shady Valley Country Store, for hosting the event and for their continuing hospitality to motorcyclists. Hopefully, there will be even more of us at the 2nd annual Rally in the Valley 2003!
